C911 Transit Depot for Downtown Line 2, Singapore

Located in Gali Batu Woodlands, this massive depot comprises 8 different buildings as part of the overall  process of train storage after operational hours; rail maintenance by locomotives; overall downtown line  control centre; train washing; train maintenance; Automated Storage Retrieval System Warehousing.  Performance specified fire fighting was employed instead of prescription based standards. Unique design  was created for the Admin building with a picture window balcony that serves the canteen and VIP rooms.
